Access Statement

Woodside Cottages are set in unlit countryside

Our driveway is directly off a side road from the A272 in the village of Piltdown. Please note that there is no lighting along the farm track.

Parking

There is parking directly outside the cottage for 3 or 4 cars. Other parking is available on the farm just a short (20m) walk away. The parking area is concrete and is lit by security floodlights at night.

Approach to the Cottage

The mobility access front door is accessed by a short concrete ramp and timber decking leading to the cottage. There are no steps at all at Woodside Cottages.

Lounge/Kitchen/Dining area

This open plan space has a timber floor with a non slip mat at the threshold. The area is lit with numerous downlighters recessed into the ceiling. There is ample circulation space to allow easy access to the bedrooms that lead directly from this area.

Guest’s Bedrooms

Guest bedrooms are carpeted and there are plugs in each room set at easy access height. Our double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a step in bath plus shower over. Our twin bedroom has an en-suite shower room.

The flooring on the en-suite bathrooms is non slip tile.

Garden and Grounds

Access to the small garden is directly off the timber deck and gardens are mainly laid to lawn. Guests are welcome to walk across the open fields around the cottage.
