Whether your preference is for travel by car, bicycle, public transport or simply on foot, visitors to Woodside Cottages can discover the glories of the Sussex countryside from this conveniently located base. The busy town of Uckfield is located approximately 5 miles away and has a main line train station into London Bridge station. For train timetables follow this link. 

Uckfield also has a good network of bus and coach routes taking visitors south to the coastal resorts of Brighton, Eastbourne and North to the historic town of Royal Tunbridge Wells and further afield. There is a bus route 3/4 of a mile away on the A272 Uckfield to Haywards Heath Road. Timetables and destinations may be found by following this link.

Our optional “collection and delivery” service can pick you up from the local railway or bus station at the start of your holiday and return you to that station at the end of your stay.
